To say the Get Organized Challenge changed my crafting life sounds like an understatement. I am not getting paid, endorsed, or rewarded in any way to share this GOC with you. The GOC is a weekly live podcast that you can watch later as often as you want.
Tiffany of Totally-Tiffany.com breaks down scrapbook storage and organization by item — stamps, inks, paper, embellishments — you name it! Watch the live broadcast or the podcast of only the ones you need help with, or do like I did: Watch the entire thing several times.
I have completely and totally organized my crafting, and it is wonderful. Not only can I find things quickly, but being organized means YOU USE YOUR STUFF. If you can’t find it, you can’t use it.
Many of my items were purchased through T-t.com but they can also be found on Amazon.
Do yourself a favor and check out the Get Organized Challenge. It’s free, it’s weekly, and it starts the 16th.
Get Organized Challenge
I posted a few weeks ago about how I’m organizing my embossing folders. I use Totally Tiffany’s Karen plastic bag with a plastic box inside. I made little folders on my Cricut and embossed each folder with the folder that it holds. I numbered them all so I can find where they go when I’m done with them.
I went one step further, as I’m following Totally Tiffany’s Get Organized Challenge. I made small tags on my Cricut machine and laminated them. I then embossed each tag with each embossing folder I have and numbered the tags. I punched holes in each tag, and put them all on a D ring. Now I have a quick flip ring I can bring with me when shopping (to prevent buying duplicates), and also a quick and easy way to see what I own and grab the correct folder without digging through each of my three bags.
It’s working fantastic for me, and I hope it works for you, too! I’m including the link to the bags below. They’re very affordable if you’re a frugal crafter like me! Happy November & craft on!
